ORANGE STAR Hey folks, it's Leeny! I've cut back on the number of live concerts for a little while as I complete a full-time graduate program at Salem State University. I am working toward an M.Ed. with initial licensure so I can fulfill my dream to become an elementary school teacher! Anticipated graduation is December 2012... and then we'll party! But please do feel free to contact me if you are interested in booking a concert or private event of any sort, and I will do my best to accommodate all requests. Hopefully, I will be releasing some new music this year as well:)

testimonials

sara"Leeny and Tamara's performance and interaction with the kids was very lively and engaging. By the end of the night even the shy kids were singing into a microphone and dancing up a storm. It was the best family fundraising event in the school's history!"
-- Lisa Wheeler, Planner/Host, Private School Family Fireworks Fundraiser Event, MA

"Leeny and Tamara are captivating performers, who fully engage and entertain their audience. Their music is upbeat and catchy. CMA's families had a ton of fun!"
-- Claire Marcus, General Programs Manager, Children's Museum of the Arts, NYC

"Leeny and Tamara performed to a packed house at my music center. Every bit of the show was fantastic and completely interactive for both adults and kids. Everyone had a great time, singing along and laughing out loud, and the kids even came up on stage to be rock stars! Leeny and Tamara are as polished and professional in a live setting as they are on their CD, and they interact brilliantly. We were thrilled beyond words, and hope they'll come back sometime soon!"
-- Christy Zarlengo, Director, Children's Music Center of Jamaica Plain, MA

"Leeny and Tamara continue to impress us. Their performances are rock solid, not only FUN FOR ALL, but educational at the same time! Keep up the great work and THANK YOU!!"
-- Bradley Atkinson, Co-Owner, The Farm Bar & Grille, Essex, MA

"Leeny, we cannot thank you enough for the wonderful mornings of entertainment you provided for our Head Start children. As you could tell from their level of participation and enthusiasm, they thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Please accept our heartfelt thanks for so generously sharing your time and talent with the children of Pathways."
-- Diana Foster, Development, Pathways for Children, Gloucester, MA

"Leeny had children of all ages on their feet, the parents clapping and snapping, and the room filled with music at our Family Literacy Month event. Leeny's original material combines the best of laugh-out-loud experiences of children with gentle reminders of safety and good sportsmanship woven in seamlessly. She was a sure-fire hit with spirited songs, big enthusiasm, and a feel-good energy the crowd couldn't resist."
-- Sara Collins, Head of Youth Services, Manchester Public Library, Manchester, MA

"Thank you so much Leeny! We did awesome with the fundraiser!! It was a great concert. The kids loved it and there was a good vibe from everyone. We enjoyed the performance immensely and would love to have you and The Eeny Meenys again."
-- Jessica Barie, Social Event Coordinator, Arlington Heights Nursery School,
Arlington, MA (Jan 2011 concert)

"Leeny and Tamara put on a really fun show. They were engaging and spoke directly to the kids in the audience, even letting them on stage to talk or sing into the microphone. This was an
involved show where you couldn't tell where the performance ended and the audience began. Kids learned about ladybugs, sharing, or the epidermis. Leeny and Tamara have a way of making lessons fun, and that's the best way for kids to learn and retain new information!"
-- Amber Bobnar, BostonChildrensMusic.com, Review of our Feb 2010 Arlington Heights Nursery School fundraising concert

You say it's your birthday. It's my birthday too, yeah!

Well, it's not actually my birthday too, but I'm not going to argue with John and Paul (The Beatles, not the Popes). If you want to get technical about it, the lyrics are really only accurate once a year.

We will be playing two sets for 40 minutes each at 12pm and 2pm. Don't worry, our performance is INSIDE!
